Psalm 73:3
14 Mga Krus na Reperensya

The tents of robbers are at peace, and those who provoke God are secure, who bring their god in their hands.

The upright are appalled at this, and the innocent stir themselves up against the godless.

Why do the wicked live on, reach old age, and grow mighty in power?

He gives them security, and they are supported; his eyes are upon their ways.

Their ways prosper at all times; your judgments are on high, out of their sight; as for their foes, they scoff at them.

Do not fret because of the wicked; do not be envious of wrongdoers,

Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him; do not fret over those who prosper in their way, over those who carry out evil devices.

Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always continue in the fear of the Lord.

Do not envy the wicked, nor desire to be with them;

Do not envy the violent and do not choose any of their ways;

In my vain life I have seen everything; there are righteous people who perish in their righteousness, and there are wicked people who prolong their life in their evildoing.

You will be in the right, O Lord, when I lay charges against you; but let me put my case to you. Why does the way of the guilty prosper? Why do all who are treacherous thrive?

Now we count the arrogant happy; evildoers not only prosper, but when they put God to the test they escape.”

Or do you suppose that it is for nothing that the scripture says, “God yearns jealously for the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”?
