Psalm 58:2
14 Mga Krus na Reperensya

If they plan evil against you, if they devise mischief, they will not succeed.

God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment:

Can wicked rulers be allied with you, those who contrive mischief by statute?

Moreover I saw under the sun that in the place of justice, wickedness was there, and in the place of righteousness, wickedness was there as well.

Ah, you who make iniquitous decrees, who write oppressive statutes,

The way of the righteous is level; O Just One, you make smooth the path of the righteous.

In you, they take bribes to shed blood; you take both advance interest and accrued interest, and make gain of your neighbors by extortion; and you have forgotten me, says the Lord God.

Its officials within it are like wolves tearing the prey, shedding blood, destroying lives to get dishonest gain.

Now we count the arrogant happy; evildoers not only prosper, but when they put God to the test they escape.”
