Now Joseph was governor over the land; it was he who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph's brothers came and bowed themselves before him with their faces to the ground.


Joseph collected all the money to be found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, in exchange for the grain that they bought; and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house.


The blessing of the wretched came upon me, and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.


Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.


Whoever says to the wicked, “You are innocent,” will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations;


Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing, but one who turns a blind eye will get many a curse.
