and whoever swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by the one who is seated upon it.

The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord's throne is in heaven. His eyes behold, his gaze examines humankind.

But I say to you, Do not swear at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God,

‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me, says the Lord, or what is the place of my rest?
