He said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear.


But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith!


He said to them, “When I sent you out without a purse, bag, or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “No, not a thing.”


In reply he said to them, “Whoever has two coats must share with anyone who has none; and whoever has food must do likewise.”


Then Levi gave a great banquet for him in his house; and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others sitting at the table with them.


Whatever house you enter, stay there, and leave from there.


No one serving in the army gets entangled in everyday affairs; the soldier's aim is to please the enlisting officer.
