and they put him in custody, until the decision of the Lord should be made clear to them.
and they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be shewed them.
And they put him in custody until the will of the Lord might be declared to them.
And they put him in ward, that it might be declared unto them at the mouth of Jehovah.
He was put under guard until they could determine the LORD’s verdict.
And they sent him to prison, until they might know what the Lord would command,
And they put him into prison, till they might know what the Lord would command.
If you do this, and God so commands you, then you will be able to endure, and all these people will go to their home in peace.”
The Lord said to Moses, saying:
They put him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him.
Moses brought their case before the Lord.
Moses spoke to them, “Wait, so that I may hear what the Lord will command concerning you.”
