Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of old.


remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like me,


I have put my words in your mouth, and hidden you in the shadow of my hand, stretching out the heavens and laying the foundations of the earth, and saying to Zion, “You are my people.”


For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the Lord; so shall your descendants and your name remain.


And when you have multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, says the Lord, they shall no longer say, “The ark of the covenant of the Lord.” It shall not come to mind, or be remembered, or missed; nor shall another one be made.


But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him”—


So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!


This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what is shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.


But, in accordance with his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness is at home.
