Then Jesus summoned his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to cure every disease and every sickness.


the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news brought to them.


So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought to him all the sick, those who were afflicted with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, and paralytics, and he cured them.

The crowds with one accord listened eagerly to what was said by Philip, hearing and seeing the signs that he did,


while God added his testimony by signs and wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, distributed according to his will.
