They did not ask an accounting from those into whose hand they delivered the money to pay out to the workers, for they dealt honestly.


that is, to the carpenters, to the builders, to the masons; and let them use it to buy timber and quarried stone to repair the house.


When they had finished, they brought the rest of the money to the king and Jehoiada, and with it were made utensils for the house of the Lord, utensils for the service and for the burnt offerings, and ladles, and vessels of gold and silver.
