And when the priests came out of the holy place, a cloud filled the house of the Lord,


It was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord, and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever,” the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud,


so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.


O Lord, I love the house in which you dwell, and the place where your glory abides.


Now the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel.


And I said: “Woe is me! I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; yet my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”


and the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were ended.
