Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in age; it had ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.


Now Abraham was old, well advanced in years; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.


David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and offerings of well-being. So the Lord answered his supplication for the land, and the plague was averted from Israel.
