13 Mga Krus na Reperensya  

I am mute; I do not open my mouth, for it is you who have done it.


He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.


But when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he gave no answer.


But he gave him no answer, not even to a single charge, so that the governor was greatly amazed.


“Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.


But Jesus made no further answer, so that Pilate was amazed.


And he said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I finish my course.


The chief priests and the scribes stood by, vehemently accusing him.


He entered his headquarters again and said to Jesus, “Where are you from?” But Jesus gave him no answer.


Now the passage of the Scripture that he was reading was this: “Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter and like a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he opens not his mouth.


When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly.
