Rachel’s servant Bilhah conceived again and bore Jacob a second son.


When Leah saw that she had ceased bearing children, she took her servant Zilpah and gave her to Jacob as a wife.


The sons of Bilhah, Rachel’s servant: Dan and Naphtali.


The sons of Naphtali: Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem.


“Naphtali is a doe let loose that bears beautiful fawns.


Plead with the Lord, for there has been enough of God’s thunder and hail. I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.”


Then the tribe of Naphtali, the chief of the people of Naphtali being Ahira the son of Enan,


And leaving Nazareth he went and lived in Capernaum by the sea, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali,


And of Naphtali he said, “O Naphtali, sated with favor, and full of the blessing of the Lord, possess the lake and the south.”


And there was a panic in the camp, in the field, and among all the people. The garrison and even the raiders trembled, the earth quaked, and it became a very great panic.
