And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.


To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes your outer garment, do not forbid the tunic either.


Already therefore, it is actually a defeat for you that you have lawsuits against one another. Why not rather accept wrong? Why not rather accept being defrauded?


But if any man thinks he is behaving improperly toward his virgin, if she is past her prime, and thus it must be, let him do what he desires. He does not sin; let them marry.
