Then the mother of Zebedee's sons came to Him with her sons, worshipping Him, and asking something from Him.
Now as He was walking alongside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
And having gone forth from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. And He called them.
And He did not permit anyone to follow along with Him except for Peter, James, and John the brother of James.
And being in agony, He prayed more fervently. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down onto the ground.
"Now My soul has been troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save Me from this hour'? But for this reason I came to this hour.
