The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?"
Tell us, therefore, what do You think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?"
And again he sent another, and that one they killed, and so with many others, beating some and killing others.
And immediately, when Jesus recognized in His spirit that they were reasoning thus among themselves, He said to them, "Why are you reasoning these things in your hearts?
