But they were reasoning among themselves, saying, "We did not take bread."


But Jesus answered and said to them, "I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things:


"But if we should say, 'From men,' we fear the crowd, for all consider John as a prophet."


But they were silent. And taking hold of him, He healed him, and let him go.


And they debated among themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' He will say, 'Why then did you not believe him?'


John testified concerning Him and has cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me, has come to be before me, because He was before me.' "


There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.


He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.


Because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and He knows all things.
