So Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that in the Regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
But Jesus answered and said, "You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup which I am about to drink, or to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?" They said to Him, "We are able."
And having stood still, Jesus called them, and said, "What do you desire that I should do for you?"
So Jesus answered and said to him, "What do you desire that I should do for you?" And the blind man said to Him, "Rabboni, that I may receive sight."
So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
and when Herodias' daughter herself came in and danced, and pleased Herod and his dinner guests, the king said to the girl, "Ask me whatever you may want, and I will give it to you."
saying, "What do you desire that I should do for you?" And he said, "Lord, that I may receive my sight."
Now as they heard these things, He told another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately.
And there became also a dispute among them, as to which of them seemed to be greater.
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what ever you may desire, and it shall be done for you.
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?"
Be warmly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor preferring one another;
Who is he that condemns? Christ is the One having died, but rather also having been raised, who is even at the right hand of God, who also intercedes on our behalf.
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
