When Jesus heard it, He withdrew from there in a boat for a deserted place privately. But when the crowds heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities.
Then His disciples said to Him, "Where could we get so many loaves of bread in this deserted place, so as to satisfy so great a crowd?"
And Jesus, having compassion, touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.
saying, "Sir, we remember that that deceiver said while He was still alive, 'After three days I will rise.'
But seeing the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and prostrated, like sheep having no shepherd.
