But while the men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went away.


But when the stalk had sprouted and produced fruit, then the tares also appeared.


"He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' So the servants said to him, 'Do you wish then that we should go and gather them up?'


"For the kingdom of heaven is like a certain landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.


Now I urge you, brothers, to look out for those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them.


Now if Timothy comes, see to it that he may be with you without fear; for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.


And working together with Him, we also urge that you not receive the grace of God in vain.


but in everything commending ourselves as ministers of God: in much endurance, in tribulations, in hardships, in distresses,


Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world is constituted an enemy of God.
