saying, "Father, if You will, remove this cup from Me--nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."
Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." And dividing His garments, they cast lots.
Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
"Now My soul has been troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save Me from this hour'? But for this reason I came to this hour.
Father, glorify Your name." Then a voice came out of heaven, saying, "I have both glorified it and will glorify it again."
So then He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,
having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,
according to the eternal purpose which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord,
