It is enough for a disciple that he become like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call his household members!


and say, 'We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; We mourned to you, and you did not lament.'


And John himself had his clothing made from camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.


But the Pharisees said, " By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons."


And the scribes who were from Jerusalem came down and were saying, "He has Beelzebul," and, "By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons."


For he shall be great before the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, while still in his mother's womb.


And many of them said, "He has a demon and is raving mad. Why do you listen to Him?"


The crowd answered and said, "You have a demon. Who is seeking to kill You?"


Then the Jews answered and said to Him, "Do we not say well that You are a Samaritan, and You have a demon?"


Then the Jews said to Him, "Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham and the prophets died, and You say, 'If anyone keeps My word he shall by no means experience death.'


Now as he spoke these things, Festus said with a loud voice, "You are mad, Paul! Your higher learning is driving you to madness!"


But I treat my body roughly, and I bring it into subjection, lest, having preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
