And having dismissed the crowds, He went up on the mountain privately to pray. And when evening had come, He was there alone.


But you, whenever you pray, enter into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you openly.


And in the very early morning before dawn, He arose and He went out, and went away to a deserted place; and there He was praying.


Now when it was evening, the boat was in the middle of the sea; and He was alone on the land.


Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and He was spending the night in prayer to God.
