But Jesus, having called them to Himself, said to them, "You know that those being reputed to be ruling the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.
And there became also a dispute among them, as to which of them seemed to be greater.
But He said to them, "The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called 'benefactors.'
Be warmly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor preferring one another;
doing nothing according to selfish ambition or conceit, but with humility, regarding one another as being better than yourselves.
Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"?
