At that time Jesus answered and said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes.
He answered and said to them, "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
Then they were all amazed, so that they were disputing among themselves, saying, "What is this? What new doctrine is this, that He commands even the unclean spirits with authority, and they obey Him?"
And apart from a parable He did not speak to them, however, privately to His disciples, he would explain all things.
And turning to His disciples He said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see what you see;
And having said these things, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem,
Then Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, "Let us also go, so that we may die with Him."
The disciples said to Him, "Rabbi, just now the Jews were seeking to stone You, and are You going there again?"
