saying, "Sir, we remember that that deceiver said while He was still alive, 'After three days I will rise.'
And He began to teach them that it was necessary for the Son of Man to suffer many things, and to be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and to be killed, and after three days to rise.
For He was teaching His disciples and said to them, "The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise on the third day."
But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?"
Then He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me."
