Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Jude?


And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have dens, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."


And coming to him, he bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and putting him on his own animal, he brought him to an inn, and took care of him.


So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to bear.


And shepherds were in the same country, living in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night.


And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
