But having become gloomy at this saying, he went away grieving, for he had many possessions.
And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, "Still one thing you lack: sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."
And when Jesus saw that he became very sad, He said, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!
