And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem so that they might ask him, "Who are you?"


Therefore there was a division again among the Jews because of these words.


Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born, being old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"


Nicodemus answered and said to Him, "How can these things be?"


The woman said to Him, "Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?


Therefore the Jews were murmuring about Him, because He said, "I am the bread which came down from heaven."


Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; who can hear it?"


Therefore some of the Pharisees were saying, "This Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath." Others said, "How can a sinful man do such signs?" And there was a division among them.


But when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some were scoffing, but others said, "We will hear you again concerning this."


But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
