for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.
There is another who testifies about Me, and I know that the testimony which He testifies concerning Me is true.
Jesus answered, "If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing. It is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say that He is our God.
Brothers, the good pleasure of my heart and my supplication to God on behalf of Israel, is for their salvation.
But to Israel he says: "the whole day long I have stretched out My hands to a disobedient and contrary people."
For what if some did not believe? Surely their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God?
to the weak I became as weak, in order that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for by doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; because this is the testimony of God which He has testified concerning His Son.
