And already as he was going, his servants met him and reported, saying, "Your child lives!"


Then he inquired from them the hour at which he got better. And they said to him, "Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him."

And when she and her household were baptized, she urged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she persuaded us.


And bringing them up into his house, he set a meal before them; and he rejoiced with his whole house, having believed in God.


And Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord, together with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, were believing and were being baptized.
