Now while they were eating, He said, "Assuredly I say to you, that one of you will betray Me."
And becoming exceedingly sorrowful, each of them began to say to Him, "Surely not I am the one, Lord?"
And while they were reclining and eating, Jesus said, "Assuredly, I say to you, one of you eating with Me will betray Me."
And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to Him one by one, "Is it I?" And another said, "Is it I?"
Nevertheless behold, the hand of him that betrays Me is with Me on the table.
Then they began to discuss with one another, which of them might be the one who was about to do this.
I do not speak concerning all of you. I know those whom I chose; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, 'He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.'
When Jesus had said these things, He was troubled in His spirit, and testified and said, "Most assuredly I say to you, one of you will betray Me."
