No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, He who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
All things came to be through Him, and without Him nothing came to be which has come to be.
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not apprehend it.
O righteous Father! Indeed the world did not know You, yet I knew You; and these knew that You sent Me.
But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I am working."
And yet He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, giving to you rains from heaven and fruitbearing seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness."
For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, God was well pleased, through the foolishness of our preaching, to save those that believe.
which none of the rulers of this age knew (for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory).
yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
because by Him all things were created, those in the heavens and those on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.
By faith we understand that time itself was framed by a command of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! On account of this the world does not know you, because it did not know Him.
