If He called those gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),


And again another Scripture says, "They shall look at Him whom they pierced."


Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the village of Bethlehem, where David was?"


"And the patriarchs, being jealous of Joseph, sold him into Egypt; and God was with him,


having been filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, greed, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness; they are whisperers,


For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very thing I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be proclaimed in all the earth."


Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?


And what union is there for the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."


And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying that, "In you all the nations shall be blessed."


For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, being deceived, being enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
