For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.


He answered and said to them, "He who has two shirts, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise."


But he who hears and does not do is like a man building a house on the ground without a foundation, against which the stream burst upon; and immediately it fell. And the breaking of that house was great."


and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.


Then Simon himself also believed; and having been baptized, he was continuing with Philip, and observing miracles and signs occurring, he was astounded.


You have neither part nor portion in this word, for your heart is not right before God.


For indeed circumcision profits if you keep the law; but if you are a transgressor of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.


through which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you--unless you believed in vain.

For you, brothers were called to freedom; only do not use freedom for an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Now the goal of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,

But also for this very reason, making every effort, provide with your faith virtue, and with virtue knowledge,
