And now behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a season." And immediately a mistiness and darkness fell upon him, and going about, he sought someone to lead him by the hand.


"And since I could not see because of the brightness of that light, being led by the hand by those who were with me, I came into Damascus.


And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he saw again; and arising, he was baptized,


And he was three days not seeing, and neither ate nor drank.


In Damascus the governor, under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desiring to arrest me;


neither did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.
