And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came to be through Jesus Christ.

You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about Me.

And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Righteous and true are Your ways, O King of the nations!
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened the books. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged by the things having been written in the books, according to their works.
