Now on the next day, as they were traveling and drawing near to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray, at about the sixth hour.

Again going out about the sixth and the ninth hour, he did likewise.


Let the one on the housetop not go down to take the things out of his house.


Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour, darkness came upon all the land.


But you, whenever you pray, enter into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you openly.


And in the very early morning before dawn, He arose and He went out, and went away to a deserted place; and there He was praying.


And having taken leave of them, He departed to the mountain to pray.


About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming to him and saying to him, "Cornelius!"


But we will faithfully engage in prayer and in the ministry of the word."


through every prayer and petition, praying in every season in the Spirit, being watchful to this same thing with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints--


I desire therefore that men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
