And do not fashion yourselves after this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and well pleasing and perfect will of God.
So then, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
And I gladly will spend and be expended for your souls; although the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.
Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not despair,
that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man,
and have put on the new man who is renewed in full knowledge according to the image of Him who created it,
not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible attitude of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious before God.
If you are reviled in the name of Christ, blessed are you, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On the one hand He is blasphemed, but on the other He is glorified.
