Then Jesus said to them, "For yet a little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.
I have come as a light into the world, so that whoever believes in Me may not abide in darkness.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He that follows Me shall by no means walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
And yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I would say that I do not know Him, I would be like you, a liar; but I do know Him, and I keep His word.

What does it profit, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Is that kind of faith able to save him?
and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the necessary things of the body, what is the benefit?
But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by means of my works.
If we claim that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, in order that you also may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
If we claim that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
He who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
If anyone claims, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how is it possible for him to love God whom he has not seen?
