So Abraham, rising up in the night, saddled his ass: and took with him two young men, and Isaac his son. And when he had cut wood for the holocaust, he went his way to the place which God had commanded him.


He commanded the Levites, who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying:


And Josue rose before daylight, and removed the camp: and they departed from Setim, and came to the Jordan: he, and all the children of Israel; and they abode there for three days.


So the ark of the Lord went about the city once a day, and returning into the camp abode there.


And seven of them seven trumpets, which are used in the jubilee. And they went before the ark of the Lord walking and sounding the trumpets: and the armed men went before them, and the rest of the common people followed the ark. And they blew the trumpets.


And forthwith the children of Israel, rising in the morning, camped by Gabaa:
