1 Samuel 18:7
8 Marejeleo ya Msalaba

And the people answered: Thou shalt not go forth; for if we flee away they will not much mind us. Or if half of us should fall, they will not greatly care: for thou alone art accounted for ten thousand. It is better therefore that thou shouldst be in the city to succour us.

Now these are David's last words. David the son of Isai said: The man to whom it was appointed concerning the Christ of the God of Jacob, the excellent psalmist of Israel said:

But David and all Israel played before the Lord on all manner of instruments made of wood: on harps and lutes and timbrels and cornets and cymbals.

And she began the song to them, saying: Let us sing to the Lord, for he is gloriously magnified: the horse and his rider he hath thrown into the sea.

And the servants of Achis, when they saw David, said to him: Is not this David the king of the land? Did they not sing to him in their dances, saying: Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands?

But David laid up these words in his heart, and was exceedingly afraid at the face of Achis the king of Geth.

Is not this David, to whom they sung in their dances, saying: Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?
