And Lamech said to his wives Ada and sella: Hear my voice, ye wives of Lamech, hearken to my speech: for I have slain a man to the wounding of myself, and a stripling to my own bruising.


Send me therefore a skilful man, that knoweth how to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, and in iron, in purple, in scarlet and in blue, and that hath skill in engraving, with the artificers, which I have with me in Judea and Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.


And these are the things you must take: gold, and silver, and brass,


Gold, and silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin:


His shoe shall be iron and brass. As the days of thy youth, so also shall thy old age be.


Where without any want thou shalt eat thy bread, and enjoy abundance of all things: where the stones are iron, and out of its hills are dug mines of brass.
