And Saul said to his armor bearer: "Unsheathe your sword and kill me. Otherwise, these uncircumcised men may arrive and mock me." But his armor bearer was not willing, having been struck with fear. And so, Saul took hold of his sword, and he fell upon it.


And in those days, men will seek death and they will not find it. And they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.


And he quickly called to his armor bearer, and said to him, "Draw your sword and strike me, otherwise it may be said that I was slain by a woman." And, doing as he was ordered, he killed him.


Then Saul said to his armor bearer, "Draw your sword and strike me, otherwise these uncircumcised may come and kill me, mocking me." And his armor bearer was not willing. For he had been struck with an exceedingly great fear. And so, Saul took his own sword, and he fell upon it.
