⁴ Noé, Sem, Cam y Jafet.

⁵ Los hijos de Jafet: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javán, Tubal, Mesec y Tiras.

⁶ Los hijos de Gomer: Askenaz, Rifat y Togarma.

⁷ Los hijos de Javán: Elisa, Tarsis, Quitim y Dodanim.

⁸ Los hijos de Cam: Cus, Mizraim, Fut y Canaán.

⁹ Los hijos de Cus: Seba, Havila, Sabta, Raama y Sabteca. Y los hijos de Raama: Seba y Dedán.

¹⁰ Cus engendró a Nimrod; este llegó a ser poderoso en la tierra.

¹¹ Mizraim engendró a Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naftuhim,

¹² Patrusim y Casluhim; de estos salieron los filisteos y los caftoreos.

¹³ Canaán engendró a Sidón su primogénito, y a Het,

¹⁴ al jebuseo, al amorreo, al gergeseo,

¹⁵ al heveo, al araceo, al sineo,

¹⁶ al arvadeo, al zemareo y al hamateo.

¹⁷ Los hijos de Sem: Elam, Asur, Arfaxad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Geter y Mesec.

¹⁸ Arfaxad engendró a Sela, y Sela engendró a Heber.

¹⁹ Y a Heber nacieron dos hijos; el nombre del uno fue Peleg, por cuanto en sus días fue dividida la tierra; y el nombre de su hermano fue Joctán.

²⁰ Joctán engendró a Almodad, Selef, Hazar-mavet y Jera.

²¹ A Adoram también, a Uzal, Dicla,

²² Ebal, Abimael, Seba,

²³ Ofir, Havila y Jobab; todos hijos de Joctán.

²⁴ Sem, Arfaxad, Sela,

²⁵ Heber, Peleg, Reu,

²⁶ Serug, Nacor, Taré,

²⁷ y Abram, el cual es Abraham.

²⁸ Los hijos de Abraham: Isaac e Ismael.

²⁹ Y estas son sus descendencias: el primogénito de Ismael, Nebaiot; después Cedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

³⁰ Misma, Duma, Massa, Hadad, Tema,

³¹ Jetur, Nafis y Cedema; estos son los hijos de Ismael.

³² Y Cetura, concubina de Abraham, dio a luz a Zimram, Jocsán, Medán, Madián, Isbac y Súa. Los hijos de Jocsán: Seba y Dedán.

³³ Los hijos de Madián: Efa, Efer, Hanoc, Abida y Elda; todos estos fueron hijos de Cetura.

³⁴ Abraham engendró a Isaac, y los hijos de Isaac fueron Esaú e Israel.

³⁵ Los hijos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jaalam y Coré.

³⁶ Los hijos de Elifaz: Temán, Omar, Zefo, Gatam, Cenaz, Timna y Amalec.

³⁷ Los hijos de Reuel: Nahat, Zera, Sama y Miza.

³⁸ Los hijos de Seir: Lotán, Sobal, Zibeón, Aná, Disón, Ezer y Disán.

³⁹ Los hijos de Lotán: Hori y Homam; y Timna fue hermana de Lotán.

⁴⁰ Los hijos de Sobal: Alván, Manahat, Ebal, Sefo y Onam. Los hijos de Zibeón: Aja y Aná.

⁴¹ Disón fue hijo de Aná; y los hijos de Disón: Amram, Esbán, Itrán y Querán.

⁴² Los hijos de Ezer: Bilhán, Zaaván y Jaacán. Los hijos de Disán: Uz y Arán.

⁴³ Y estos son los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom, antes que reinase rey sobre los hijos de Israel: Bela hijo de Beor; y el nombre de su ciudad fue Dinaba.

⁴⁴ Muerto Bela, reinó en su lugar Jobab hijo de Zera, de Bosra.

⁴⁵ Y muerto Jobab, reinó en su lugar Husam, de la tierra de los temanitas.

⁴⁶ Muerto Husam, reinó en su lugar Hadad hijo de Bedad, el que derrotó a Madián en el campo de Moab; y el nombre de su ciudad fue Avit.

⁴⁷ Muerto Hadad, reinó en su lugar Samla de Masreca.

⁴⁸ Muerto también Samla, reinó en su lugar Saúl de Rehobot, que está junto al Éufrates.

⁴⁹ Y muerto Saúl, reinó en su lugar Baal-hanán hijo de Acbor.

⁵⁰ Muerto Baal-hanán, reinó en su lugar Hadad, el nombre de cuya ciudad fue Pai; y el nombre de su mujer, Mehetabel hija de Matred, hija de Mezaab.

⁵¹ Muerto Hadad, sucedieron en Edom los jefes Timna, Alva, Jetet,

⁵² Aholibama, Ela, Pinón,

⁵³ Cenaz, Temán, Mibzar,

⁵⁴ Magdiel e Iram. Estos fueron los jefes de Edom.

¹⁶ and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

¹⁷ The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

¹⁸ And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

¹⁹ And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.

²⁰ And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

²¹ Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,

²² and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

²³ and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

²⁴ Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

²⁵ Eber, Peleg, Reu,

²⁶ Serug, Nahor, Terah,

²⁷ Abram; the same is Abraham.

²⁸ The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.

²⁹ These are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

³⁰ Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,

³¹ Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.

³² Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.

³³ And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.

³⁴ And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.

³⁵ The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

³⁶ The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

³⁷ The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

³⁸ And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.

³⁹ And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.

⁴⁰ The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.

⁴¹ The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

⁴² The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.

Kings of Edom

⁴³ Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

⁴⁴ And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

⁴⁵ And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

⁴⁶ And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

⁴⁷ And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

⁴⁸ And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

⁴⁹ And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

⁵⁰ And when Baal-hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

⁵¹ Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,

⁵² duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

⁵³ duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

⁵⁴ duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
