Jon le rɨghe na i bapɨtaiso, i mena weya Loi o i mena weŋgiya gharɨgharɨ?” Mbe thiye eŋge thɨ veutu weŋgi, thɨŋa, “Thoŋgo raŋa, ‘I mena weya Loi’ ne iŋa, ‘Buda kaiwae na mava hu loŋweghathɨgha Jon?’
Ko thoŋgo raŋa, ‘I mena weŋgiya gharɨgharɨ,’ wabwike laghɨye thiyake ne thɨ gaboinda e varɨvarɨ, kaiwae thɨ loŋweghathɨ Jon iye Loi ghalɨŋae gharautu.”
Iyake iyava ya utuuta utuniyema, iyava yaŋama, ‘Lolo regha iya i menamenako, i rereghamba e ghino, ko iyemaeŋge iye i laghɨye kivwalaŋgo kaiwae vama inawe amba ghino ya virɨ.’
Thɨ mena eŋge thɨ utuutu weya Jon thɨŋa, “Ravavaghare, amalama iya mendava weinɨma Jorɨdan valɨvaŋga i vorovoro, iya mendava u utuŋa iye Mesaiya; ee amalaghɨniye i bapɨtaisoŋgiya gharɨgharɨ na gharɨgharɨ lemoyo moli thɨ rakarakawe.”
Thela thoŋgo i loŋweghathɨgha Nariye i vaidiya yawaliye memeghabananiye, ko thela thoŋgo i botewo Nariye mane i vaidi yawalɨko iyako, ko iyemaeŋge Loi le ghatemuru laghɨye moli inawe.
Mbaŋa Jon i kaiwovun ghakaiwo, amba i dage weŋgiya gharɨgharɨ iŋa, ‘Hu renuwaŋa thela ghino? Ghino ma ravamoruna iya hu roroghaghana kaiwae ŋgoreiye. Iye ne i mena e ghereiŋgu na ghino ma elo thovuyena valɨkaiwaŋgu ya rakayathu gheghe ghae.’”
