Gettin ïntae tha Kïngdom o God 23 An Jesus turnt roon, an he saed tae hïs follaers, “Hoo verie haird ït wull be fer weel monied fowk tae enter ïntae tha Kïngdom o God!” 24 Whan he saed thïs, hïs follaers wus aa tuk bak. But Jesus saed tae thaim agane, “Freens, hoo verie haird ït ïs [fer thaim at pits thair trust ïn thair siller] tae git ïntae tha Kïngdom o God! 25 It wud be aisier fer a kemel tae gae throu tha ee o a needle, ner fer a monied man tae git ïntae tha Kïngdom o God.” 26 An hïs follaers wur thunnèrstruck. “Then wha ïn aa tha warl can be saved?” the' axt hïm. 27 Jesus lukt strecht at thaim an saed, “Man cannae dae ït bi hissel! Cud yis thole tae drïnk tha cup o sufferin that A maun drïnk, or tae be baptised wi tha baptisin that A'll be baptised wi?” 39 An the' saed tae hïm, “Ay, that we can.” An Jesus saed bak tae thaim, “Yis shairlie wull drïnk frae ma cup, an be baptised wi ma baptisin. 40 But ït's no up tae me tae alloo yis tae sït on ma richt han side, or on ma left.
