²¹ Fer then thair'll be sitch despert sufferin - faur waur ner thair iver wus frae tha stairt o tha warl til noo - an tha laik o thïs'll niver be saen agane.

Mattha 24:20

Pray tae God that ye dïnnae hae tae flee ïn tha wuntèr or on tha Sabbath.

Al at yinst eftèr tha sufferin o thaim days, ‘tha sin wull be dairkint, tha muin wull no gie onie licht; tha starns wull faa frae tha heivens, an tha pooers o tha lïft wull be dinnelt.’

Ye maun tak heed. The' wull han yis ower tae tha cooncils, an gie yis a whuppin ïn tha Meetin Hooses. On ma accoont ye wull be stud afore guviners an kïngs, as a wutness tae thaim.
