Wae faa ye, maistèrs o tha Laa an Pharisees, ye hippycrates! Fer ye shut tha dure o tha Kïngdom o Heiven ïn fowks' faces. You yersels dïnnae enter, an yis'll no alloo thaim tae enter that's tryin tae git ïn!
An he gien thaim thïs lesson. Saed he, “Is ït no writ doon, ‘Ma hoose wull be caad a hoose o prayer fer aa nations’? But yous hae turnt ït ïntae a den o robbers!”
“Noo here's tha truith o ït,” qo Jesus, “tha man that daesnae cum ïntae tha ree bi tha yett, tae get amang tha sheep, but spiels ïn bi some ither róad, ye can be shair he's a thief or a reiver.
Anent oniebodie that haes heerd ma wurds, but daesnae houl tae thaim, A'm no fer makkin judgemen on hïm. Fer A dïdnae cum ïntae tha warl tae judge ït, but tae save ït.
He dïdnae say that oot o peetie fer tha puir, but becas he wus a thief. He kep tha siller-pooch an he jist dïppt ïntae ït fer hïs ain use whan he wantit.
A be tha leevin breid that cums doon frae heiven. If oniebodie aits thïs breid, he wull leeve fer aye. Thïs breid ïs ma flesh, that A wull gie fer tha life o tha warl.”
