And the king said, “And where is your master's son?” Ziba said to the king, “Behold, he remains in Jerusalem; for he said, ‘Today the house of Israel will give me back the kingdom of my father.’ ”


Then the king said to Ziba, “Behold, all that belonged to Mephibosheth is now yours.” And Ziba said, “I do obeisance; let me ever find favor in your sight, my lord the king.”


And the king said to him, “Why speak any more of your affairs? I have decided: you and Ziba shall divide the land.”


And Mephibosheth said to the king, “Oh, let him take it all, since my lord the king has come safely home.”


But he who is noble devises noble things, and by noble things he stands.


There was a man of Benjamin whose name was Kish, the son of Abiel, son of Zeror, son of Becorath, son of Aphiah, a Benjaminite, a man of wealth;
